Had a wonderful dinner at this charming, but tiny new pop-up eatery in Orange Beach. The meal started with a complementary delicious Pinot Noir served by the co-owner and sommelier David. The first course, a fresh pomegranate & locally-sourced satsuma salad, was topped with Gorgonzola and a delicious maison dressing. The main course was a perfectly prepared aubergine parmigiana which we understand is a specialty of Chef Nancy, the other owner of this Orange Beach gem. Finishing the meal was a spot-on Tiramisu.
Chez Pan Dion’s setting, incidentally, is beautiful. The main window looks over a small pond and lighted fountain. Inside, charming music softly played during dinner. Pet friendly and non-smoking. Reservations essential.
