We had a couple of friendly dogs hang around our campsite.
Tannehill Ironworks State Park (AL)
Sort of a cool place–a state park on the grounds of an old Confederate-era ironworks furnace. Lots of neat trails.
The bad side: Alabama allows full-time residents in their state parks, on the condition that they move every 14 days. People stay there forever, just moving back and forth between neighboring sites. So maybe half the RVs there look like they’re pretty permanent–furniture out front, etc. We saw one guy with a 50″ TV sitting on a banquet-type table and lazy-boy chairs out front. Play tents, bicycles, pet shelters, hammocks, dogs, etc. all over the place. Another issue—it’s a no-no to walk through someone’s campsite in nearly every CG in the country (except this one). Not here–kids and adults stream through your site.
Suburban Birmingham area.

With a 2018 Entegra next door. Mike and Carol, “like The Bradys” as Carol explained…
The 18s have the cool chrome along the bottom.
In Statesboro tonight! (GA)
Hilton Head
Cool place. Too bad it’s basically closed.
Hilton Head Island
We’re hunkered down in a near little RV Resort in Hilton Head. We’re about a block from a marina, and each space here is individually owned. They’re all a little different–ours has a Weber grill, a fire pit and rocking chairs. Nicely landscaped too. Went to Publix today for more veggies. No paper products to be had.
Working on my short game.
Here at the Fayetteville RV Resort.

Well, we’re here. Surge protector died between here and Charlotte. Lifetime guarantee but not sure how/when we can get the exchange going.
Edit: opened surge protector, let it dry, powered it back up. Supposed to be weatherproof but it’s not… back in biz for now.
Charlotte
At the NASCAR track… big and nice CG but dull.
